This package includes three key-switchers for AT- and PS/2-compatible
computers:

SWITCH2.COM makes the enhanced (101-key) keyboard emulate the standard (84-
key) keyboard with the following reassignments:

                        Caps Lock => Left Ctrl
                        Left Ctrl => Caps Lock

SWITCH5.COM makes the enhanced (101-key) keyboard emulate the Northgate
Omnikey keyboard with the following reassignments:

                        Caps Lock => Left Ctrl
                        Left Ctrl => Left Alt
                         Left Alt => Caps Lock
                       Right Ctrl => Right Alt
                        Right Alt => Right Ctrl

SWITCH3.COM makes the standard (84-key) keyboard emulate the enhanced (101-
key) keyboard with the following reassignments:

                             Ctrl => Caps Lock
                        Caps Lock => Alt
                              Alt => Ctrl

All three of these programs operate in the same manner.

To load the switcher, just type "SWITCHn" at the DOS prompt, where "n"
corresponds to the switcher number that you wish to use. If your computer
doesn't support keyboard remapping through BIOS interrupt 15h, you will
receive a message to that effect, and the TSR will not load.

If you attempt to load SWITCH a second time, you will receive a message
indicating that it is already loaded and won't reload (unless another TSR
has been loaded in between that has intercepted interrupt 15h).

To unload the switcher, type "SWITCHn /X" at the DOS prompt. If SWITCH was
the last TSR loaded, it will safely unload itself from memory. If it was
not loaded or another TSR was loaded after SWITCH, you will receive a
message indicating that one of those two conditions exist. Remember the
rule for TSRs: Last In, First Out (LIFO).
